Or its the big feeling moment when you see your bride for the first time. I am here for it. It's all important and it all matters and it all adds up to what builds a life.
Your engagement session might look like a pizza date night in the living room or your family session could be a bike ride to the park. I'd love to be asked to be a part of it all.

Ok, well for your wedding you've probably got this figured out (although, let me know if you need a shopping buddy)!! For sessions, I first encourage your to be comfortable. I encourage neutrals or small pops of color. All my clients are gifted a free session prep guide with more info on how to curate a session wardrobe that will make your images standout.
I live in Lake Country, Wisconsin and serve Waukesha, Milwaukee, Madison and beyond. My passport is current and I am always excited to travel.
A lot of this process comes down to me and how i interact with you. However, you can help make your images the most authentic they can be by coming to your session/wedding ready to loose yourself in the fun. If you have little kiddos make sure you allow space for them to just be free and themselves. I can work my magic most easily when we aren't trying to control too much.
My approach to making images is to be honest and genuine in all things and to put your comfort at the forefront. Your story is unique, unlike anyone elses, and that is special. I look for the in between moments. I will direct you for the best light and to make sure your in a beautiful setting. However, I am always looking to honor your true self.
All my sessions take place during golden hour for that warm and earthy feel you see in my images. I will occasionally accommodate something else if your needs are unique.
Yes! Your gallery will come with a stunning and high end shop attached to it. This is a great way to continue to support my small business when you need a gift or to print updated photos in your home! However, I do not require you to order prints through the gallery. Your contract includes the printing release to order prints on your own. I recommend Artifact Uprising, Mpix and Nations Photo Lab for best results.
You can bring your dog, bunny, cat or bird. I love animals. Lets chat about this when picking a location for your session! If you are getting married and including your fur friend I can recommend services that would help you coordinate bringing your furry friend to us if needed!
To my wedding clients...I encourage you to think about this while prepping for your day! Often the answer is to be prepared with some umbrellas and a sense of adventure. I will work with you to figure out a plan that works for your vision. I try to accommodate my families if a reschedule is requested due to bummer weather.

This is especially important for my wedding clients. Firstly, I will say that currently I am not expiring any of my galleries for clients. However you are responsible for saving your images. I recommend all my clients purchase an external hard drive to archive their images to. It's a great habit to download your gallery and save that on your external hard drive. I recommend storing that in a fire safe.
The amount of images you will receive varies based on my coverage and the time I am documenting. For weddings, anywhere between 700-1000. For lifestyle sessions I average of 100-200. I am looking to deliver images that tell a story about our entire time together.
I am always looking to deliver my clients galleries in a timely manner. I really spend a lot of time behind the scenes editing and curating your gallery. That being said, you can expect up to 4 weeks for session delivery and 8 weeks for wedding galleries. My practice is to drop you an email when I have a definite delivery date so you know when to watch your inbox!

You can also express interest in a more documentary style approach to your session or a lifestyle session. I also offer branding and headshot pricing upon request.
